About

My background

For over 20 years, I helped some of the world’s leading brands, including Honda, BMW and Callaway Golf, connect and build relationships with their communities through the power of live events and experiences.

More recently this evolved into a general marketing specialism where I shaped the marketing strategies in-house for leading marketing agencies. In my last role, I sat on the EMEA executive board of a global brand experience company, in the role of Marketing Director.

My fitness qualifications

I am a CIMSPA certified Level 3 Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor and Nutritional Advisor, with a particular interest in behaviour change and nutrition.

My passion for fitness is founded in my passion for running (read all about my running here). I have taken part in more than 35 half marathons, marathons, an ultra and many trails over the last 20 years – around the UK, Europe and further afield – many of which have also been for charity. I also have a love of exploring and experiencing different countries, cultures and cuisines.

Running is not only my favourite way to stay fit, it’s my moment to be mindful, it’s how I process things and come up with new ideas. It has also introduced me to new people and new places, and is the source of so many of my most treasured memories.

I am a member of my local running club – the BeaRCat Running Club – a lovely club that is based out of my local pub – The Turk’s Head in St Margarets, Twickenham, and run by the truly inspiring Caitlin Limmer.

To complement my running, I recognise the importance of building full body strength and endurance, to not only improve as a runner, but to mitigate injuries.

POINT3 Wellbeing

In the company of two fabulous business partners, I have recently launched a new wellbeing company that is focused on helping people stress less and smile more. Movement and mindfulness are the foundational principles of POINT3 Wellbeing, both recognised ways to reduce the effects of stress and to boost happiness levels!
