Best of the West

Welcome to the final #GTime before my holiday. Tonight’s #ThursdayFriday is dedicated to the West End & the best of this summer’s shows.

There are so many great shows on at the moment & coming up, so loads to look forward to after my holiday… not to mention the Olympics!

  1. One Man, Two Guvnors, Theatre Royal – Bloody Brilliant British Satire. Now taking Broadway by storm with James Cordon.
  2. The Sunshine Boys, Savoy Theatre – Comedy with legendary Danny DeVito & famed British actor Richard Griffiths.
  3. Matthew Bourne’s Play Without Words, Sadler’s Wells – Satire & Seduction in Swinging Sixties.
  4. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, National Theatre 24/7- 27/10 – Excellent book turned play.
  5. Jesus Christ Superstar, The O2 21 & 22 Sept (selling out fast!) – 40 year celebration tour of this rock classic.

5 extraordinary theatre productions which are sure to bring the house down but which is the best of the west end in tonight’s #GTopSpot?

Tonight’s #ThursdayFriday #GTopSpot goes to #5 Jesus Christ Superstar, The O2 – Genius cast of Tim Minchin & Melanie C!

Watch ITV’s ‘Superstar’ with Andrew Lloyd Webber which gives the public the chance to decide who will play the starring role of Jesus.

That’s it for tonight & for #GTime until Friday 27 July. Look out for the odd #GTweet from Portugal! Have a great couple of weeks. G x
